AIMS & SCOPE

Cultural Communication and Socialization Journal is an interdisciplinary platform dedicated to advancing scholarship on the dynamic processes through which culture, communication, and socialization intersect in diverse contexts; the journal aims to foster critical inquiry into how individuals and groups construct, negotiate, and transmit cultural meanings through communication practices and how these processes shape identity formation, social integration, and intercultural understanding, with a scope that encompasses, but is not limited to:

  • Theories and practices of cultural communication across local, national, and global
    settings.
  • Processes of socialization within families, educational institutions, organizations, and
    communities.
  • Intercultural and cross-cultural communication, including issues of identity, power, and
    representation.
  • The role of media, technology, and digital platforms in shaping cultural communication
    and socialization.
  • Comparative and applied studies highlight cultural diversity, inclusion, and social
    cohesion.

By providing a forum for original research, theoretical contributions, and applied perspectives, the journal seeks to promote dialogue across disciplines such as communication studies, sociology, anthropology, psychology, education, and media studies, with the ultimate goal of contributing to a deeper understanding of how cultural communication and socialization influence human interaction, knowledge transmission, and social development in an increasingly interconnected world.
